1. Use a Rubber Band for Extra Grip
- Place a wide rubber band over the head of the stripped screw.
- Firmly insert your screwdriver into the screw head and turn slowly.
- The rubber band fills the gaps, giving your driver more grip.
2. Try a Different Screwdriver
- Use a manual, not power, screwdriver for better control.
- Switch to a screwdriver with a different tip (larger or smaller size, or try a flathead if you originally used a Phillips).
- Apply firm, slow pressure to avoid further stripping.
3. Use Pliers for Exposed Screws
