How to hack an Apple iPhone

There are two levels, at which an Apple iPhone can be hacked:
- The so called "Jailbreak"
- The firmware hack
The "Jailbreak" can be undone by resetting the operating system while the firmware hack cannot. The Jailbreak allows you to run third party software but you still need your original SIM card/operator that came with your original iPhone. However if you want to use any SIM card, you have to hack the firmware of the phone.
